High-Performance and Low-Cost Distributed Acoustic Sensor with Phase Noise Compensation

Without any specialized receivers for extracting phase noise, we demonstrate a distributed acoustic sensor with phase noise compensation. 50 km sensing range is achieved using 100 kHz linewidth laser in EDFA free experimental scheme.
