Research on 800Gbit/s Transmission Fiber

This paper introduces the performance of G.654.E single-mode optical fiber based on the requirements of single-carrier 800Gbit/s optical fiber transmission system. The performance of G.654.E single-mode optical fiber is introduced through the long-haul/ultra-long haul backbone network transmission experiment, medium-long distance transmission experiment in single-carrier 800G laboratory, and the single-carrier 800G practical network transmission experiment. It is strongly verified that G.654.E is the best fiber choice in the single carrier 800G high speed era.
