Remote Switchable Particle Trapping Based on All-Dielectric Composite Phase Metalens
In this paper, we present an all-dielectric composite phase metalens, which enables remote and switchable particle trapping. The metalens can independently excite two far-field outputs under the input of near-infrared circularly polarized light with opposite chirality, allowing polystyrene particles to be trapped at the central focus and within the optical vortex ring, respectively. Furthermore, the two trapping modes can be freely switched without altering the lens structure, providing high flexibility for applications in compact on-chip optical trapping devices, as well as more diverse biological molecule manipulation and detection.
