Demonstration of an ECL Wavelength Stabilization System for Coherent Free-Space Optical Communication

We propose an ECL wavelength stabilization system for coherent free-space optical communication. Experimental results demonstrate that the system achieves wavelength stability of 0.0010 nm, and a Doppler frequency shift range of [-7.32, 10.43] GHz.

Abstract

We propose an ECL wavelength stabilization system for coherent free-space optical communication. Experimental results demonstrate that the system achieves wavelength stability of 0.0010 nm, and a Doppler frequency shift range of [-7.32, 10.43] GHz.
