Research on Optimization Scheduling of UHVDC Considering Fluctuations in Wind and Solar Power Output
This study proposed an Ultra-High Voltage Direct Current (UHVDC) optimization scheduling model, taking into account the specific characteristics of DC outbound systems utilized in renewable energy bases situated in desert regions. The model takes into account DC operation, supply capacity, and peak load demand. It adopts a direct source-following dynamic outbound mode to meet power delivery requirements while reducing planning costs and achieving coordination with wind, solar, and energy storage generation. Experimental results show that this model effectively improves outbound efficiency and cost control.
