A Study of Grid Frequency Stabilization Capability Considering New Energy-Storage Inertia Characteristics
The high proportion of new energy sources linked to the power grid reduces the inertia of the power supply units and affects the frequency stabilization of the device. To improve the frequency stability of the power supply system, it is necessary to make full use of the controllable components in the high proportion power supply system of the converter to provide virtual inertia. First, the virtual inertia characteristics of new energy modules and power source storage system are analyzed, and then the minimize amount of inertia level required for the secure and stabilized function of a high proportion of new energy grid is explored, and a new energy energy storage inertia control method is proposed. Finally, PSCAD/EMTDC simulation verifies the degree of practicality and efficiency of the above suggested methodology.
