C Band Single Wavelength 1.12 Tb/s Optical Interconnect Over 43-km 7-Core Fiber Based on Neural Networks Nonlinear Digital Equalization

1.12 Tb/s (160 Gb/s X 7) PAM-4 signal has been successfully transmitted over 43-km 7-core fiber with Single Side-band at C band. The experiment demonstrates that Neural Networks are capable of mitigating the nonlinear effects significantly.

Abstract

1.12 Tb/s (160 Gb/s X 7) PAM-4 signal has been successfully transmitted over 43-km 7-core fiber with Single Side-band at C band. The experiment demonstrates that Neural Networks are capable of mitigating the nonlinear effects significantly.
