End-to-End Learning of Joint Noise Shaping and Probabilistic Shaping for OAM Mode Division Multiplexing Transmission

We propose and experimentally demonstrate an end-to-end learning of joint noise shaping and probabilistic shaping in OAM-MDM system. The proposed joint shaping technology outperformed conventional technology with improvements in receiver sensitivity of 1.5 and 1.7dB.

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate an end-to-end learning of joint noise shaping and probabilistic shaping in OAM-MDM system. The proposed joint shaping technology outperformed conventional technology with improvements in receiver sensitivity of 1.5 and 1.7dB.
