Bicycle-based collision prevention system using pedestrian trajectory prediction with an iPhone
There were 70,301 bicycle accidents in 2023 in Japan, resulting in 362 fatalities and serious injuries from pedestrian and bicycle accidents. In this study, we propose a bicycle-based collision prevention system using pedestrian trajectory prediction with an iPhone. We conducted real-time experiments while riding a bicycle and confirmed that the proposed system issued warnings at a more appropriate timing than the conventional systems.
