Statistical Processing of Data from the Operation of a Wind Power Plant

Paper concerns the use of renewable energy source – wind energy. The aim is formulated as data processing of energy generated by a specific wind power plant installed in the Central Balkan Mountain region in the Republic of Bulgaria. Calculations have been performed based on data acquisition values. Conclusions have been drawn based on the results obtained, that the produced and sold active energy significantly differs from the installed capacity. The role of preventive maintenance in order to achieve the planned electricity output is emphasized.
