Deterministic Optical Time Slot Allocation Scheme Based on Time Aware Shaping in Metro/Access All-Optical Switching Networks
The advancement of intelligent edge computing has enhanced network edge service capabilities, requiring deterministic service delivery and efficient resource utilization. For metro/access networks, we propose a time aware shaping based optical time slot allocation scheme that assigns transmission windows and reserves time slots based on traffic characteristics and requirements. Simulation results show that compared with the RS scheme, this scheme achieves deterministic transmission and improves the average bandwidth utilization efficiency by 9.57%.
