A Generative Model Based Channel Estimation Method for Optical Communications with Few-Mode Fibers

A novel channel estimation method based on the generative model is proposed for MIMO processing in optical mode-division multiplexing systems with few-mode fibers. Results show that the proposed method significantly outperforms the conventional one.
