Resource Allocation Algorithm Based on Physical Layer Impairment for Space Division Multiplexing Elastic Optical Networks

This paper proposed a resource allocation algorithm (DQ-PI) considering both linear and nonlinear impairment in SDM-EONs. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has effectively improved the quality of transmission (QoT) and resource utilization.
