Photonic Synchronization in Wideband Spread Spectrum Transceiver

This paper proposes and demonstrates a novel photonic synchronization with chip-rate of 100 picosecond using a tunable optical delay line. This technique enables the synchronization of 10 GHz wideband spread-spectrum with high performance, which is expected to break through the basic challenge in current spread spectrum transceiver.

Abstract

This paper proposes and demonstrates a novel photonic synchronization with chip-rate of 100 picosecond using a tunable optical delay line. This technique enables the synchronization of 10 GHz wideband spread-spectrum with high performance, which is expected to break through the basic challenge in current spread spectrum transceiver.
