Experimental Study of Propeller Noise Reduction Based on Acoustic wave Interference Principle
The active noise reduction means of acoustic wave interference phase cancellation to improve the aircraft noise level is the current research hotspot of green aviation, and it has important engineering application value for controlling the noise radiation of propellers. In order to improve the technical maturity of acoustic wave interference noise reduction, this paper establishes the principle model of dual propeller interference noise reduction, and experimentally investigates the noise characteristics of dual propellers at different rotational speeds and phases in a semi-anechoic chamber, and tests the near-field and far-field noise spectra and directivity. The experimental results show that the active noise reduction method of acoustic wave interference has a noise reduction effect on the near-field and far-field noise of the propeller; in the first two orders of the discrete noise of the propeller, the noise reduction effect is significant, and the maximum can be up to 12dB; if we want to reduce the noise for the full-frequency domain, we need to set up a more accurate phase control model of acoustic wave interference.
