Multimode Fiber Specklegram Based High-Speed Deformation Sensor

A simple experimental method for multimode fiber specklegram deformation sensing is proposed. By using SLM to change images at fixed curvatures and establish a calibration dataset, curvature classification is achieved through speckle pattern sampling and SVM-based feature extraction.

Abstract

A simple experimental method for multimode fiber specklegram deformation sensing is proposed. By using SLM to change images at fixed curvatures and establish a calibration dataset, curvature classification is achieved through speckle pattern sampling and SVM-based feature extraction.
