A Three-Component Distributed Acoustic Sensing Prototype Based on Elliptically Wound Cable

A three-component distributed acoustic sensing method based on multi-angle elliptically wound cable is proposed. Using the different directional response of specific winding angles, 20cm spatial resolution can be realized, showing great potential for long-range applications.
