Development of Smart Gloves for Real-Time Feedback in Sports Training: Enhancing Precision in Speed and Angle Measurement
This study presents a smart glove system capable of precisely measuring speed, grip strength, and angles, providing real-time feedback to athletes for improved training. The glove incorporates sensors, including gyroscopes and accelerometers, to record hand movement data. Computer vision algorithms, such as MediaPipe and YOLOv7, are used to process this data and generate 3D models. Deep learning algorithms are then applied to analyze these models, assess motion accuracy, and offer corrective feedback. The smart glove has been tested in various sporting environments, proving to be a valuable tool for enhancing athletic performance by distinguishing between correct and incorrect motions, delivering targeted suggestions, and ultimately improving performance.
