Design, Fabrication and Measurement of 19-Core 10-LP-Mode Fibers with Low Inter-Core Crosstalk and Low DGD

We report the design, fabrication and measurement of a low inter-core crosstalk and low DGD 19-core 10-LP-mode fibers adapted to weakly-coupled multi-core fiber and strongly-coupled mode-division-multiplexed systems that allows to multiply the capacity.

Abstract

We report the design, fabrication and measurement of a low inter-core crosstalk and low DGD 19-core 10-LP-mode fibers adapted to weakly-coupled multi-core fiber and strongly-coupled mode-division-multiplexed systems that allows to multiply the capacity.
