Integration of Wooclap and Autodesk© Technologies in Graphic Engineering Teaching
In graphical engineering, several challenges are encountered when attempting to improve students’ understanding of spatial vision. These challenges and motivation require adjustments to the content of laboratory sessions. Consequently, this article addresses the need to improve knowledge, evolve students’ visual skills and achieve more significant involvement in the sessions. With all the modifications that were proposed at the level of practice, two were mainly included: the incorporation of the Wooclap© tool to promote learning, the use of competition and questions to ensure learning, and the use of spatial vision tools and drawings, such as Autodesk Inventor© and Autodesk Autocad©. With these two tools, it was intended the first to learn and know how to create simple pieces in 3D to be able to model them and understand that from simple drawings, you can obtain complex pieces, and with Autocad© to be able to represent the cuts, sections, etc. on plans. of 3D parts. The document will explain the reasons for using models created in one software to illustrate concepts in the other and vice versa. This approach aims to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application in engineering graphics education and ultimately improve learning outcomes and overall student experience.
