PixelVault: Data Masking and Encryption
PixelVault is a pioneering project designed to strengthen data security through a combination of encryption and steganography techniques implemented in the C programming language. PixelVault aims to conceal sensitive information within images, thereby augmenting existing security measures against unauthorized access. The project's objectives are multifaceted: first and foremost, it emphasizes data encryption utilizing cryptographic algorithms alongside salting techniques to enhance security layers. Secondly, PixelVault employs adaptive compression methods to optimize data storage within images without compromising quality. Importantly, encryption is only applied to data under legitimate and lawful circumstances, underscoring ethical considerations in data handling. Moreover, PixelVault emphasizes the importance of fortifying data security to prevent unauthorized alterations, ensuring data integrity and authenticity. Additionally, the project endeavors to enable seamless decryption of encrypted files without any loss of data, thereby facilitating legitimate access while maintaining confidentiality. By addressing these objectives, PixelVault strives to advance data security standards, mitigating risks associated with unauthorized access and manipulation. Through its innovative integration of encryption and steganography, PixelVault stands as a prime example of ongoing efforts to protect sensitive information in the digital landscape, contributing significantly to the evolution of data protection mechanisms.
