Research Progress on the Readout Circuit of Superconducting Single-Photon Detectors
In recent years, superconducting single-photon detectors (SSPDs) have attracted extensive attention in the field of photoelectric detection due to their superior photoelectric properties. At present, the research on the optical properties of SSPDs is relatively mature, while the research on electrical properties still lacks a recognized theory. The readout circuit of SSPD is difficult to implement, and the design methods are incomplete. It is the prerequisite and essence for expanding the application scope of SSPD to understand in depth and develop the signal readout of SSPD. In this paper, we summarize the research progress of various readout circuits. Through the analysis and comparison of various readout schemes, the great development potential of low-temperature readout circuits for SSPDs was further prospected.
