Laser Ranging and Reflectance Discrimination Based on Stretched Noise-Like Pulse
We propose a chaotic ultrafast laser-based ranging scheme. Employing the noise-like pulse stretched by the time-stretch dispersive Fourier transform technique, the distance and surface reflectance information can be obtained through a cross-correlation operation. It is demonstrated that this approach has a range resolution of 6 mm and can identify the relative reflectance information of the target.
