A Bandgap Reference with High Power Supply Rejection Ratio at Low Supply Voltage
The bandgap reference is a widely used module in integrated circuits. The main function of this circuit is to provide reference voltage or current independent of temperature, supply voltage and process. In this paper, a bandgap reference module is designed based on 130nm process that can operate at lower voltage sources with high power supply rejection ration. The power supply noise is resisted by generating a localized voltage. Simulation results show that the power supply rejection ratio can reach 91.4dB at typical process corner. Over the temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, the temperature coefficient of reference output voltage is 24.27PPM/°C. In addition, this design uses an inverter-based start-up circuit, which makes the bandgap reference source have good stability and reliability.
