Performance Evaluation of OAM-Based MIMO FSO System Integrated with Hybrid Channel Coding and Space-Time Coding

This paper presents an orbital angular momentum multiplexing MIMO FSO system based on the combination of hybrid channel coding and space-time coding. Simulation results show that compared with only vertical Bell Layered Space-Time(V-BLAST) coding, the coding gain is improved by 1.33dB under strong turbulence.

Abstract

This paper presents an orbital angular momentum multiplexing MIMO FSO system based on the combination of hybrid channel coding and space-time coding. Simulation results show that compared with only vertical Bell Layered Space-Time(V-BLAST) coding, the coding gain is improved by 1.33dB under strong turbulence.
