Measurement of the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion of Carbon Fiber Composites Based on Fabry-Pérot Cavities

A method for measuring the thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) of carbon fiber composites based on Fabry-Pérot (FP) cavity is proposed. The CTE of a carbon fiber composite is measured to be <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$5.18\times 10^{-6}/ {}^{\circ}\mathrm{C}$</tex>.
