Single-Wavelength 1.9-Tb/s Direct Detection Using TFLN DDMZM and Optical Hilbert Receiver

We propose an optical Hilbert direct detection receiver with an all-pass transfer function for carrier-assisted complex-valued double-sideband signal reception. We experimentally demonstrate single-wavelength line rates at 1.94 Tb/s at 300-m SSMF and 1.84 Tb/s at 10-km SSMF using a >100-GHz thin-film LiNbO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">3</inf> dual-drive Mach-Zehnder modulator.
