Mode Converter Based on the Long-Period Fiber Grating Inscribed in Graded Index Few Mode Fiber

A mode converter based on the long-period fiber grating is investigated, which is inscribed in graded-index few-mode fiber. The coupling from the fundamental mode to higher-order core mode (LP21) has been achieved.
