Timing Analysis of AVB Traffic in 5G-TSN Networks Using Network Calculus
The proposal of Ultra-Reliable and Low-Latency Communication (URLLC) has promoted the new research trend of integration of 5G and TSN. There are currently few studies on the probabilistic E2E delay of the integrated 5G-TSN network. Therefore, in this paper, we deduce the probabilistic E2E delay bound of Audio-Video-Bridging (AVB) traffic in the integrated 5G-TSN network, considering the influence of DRR scheduling strategy, AVB traffic characteristics, and Rayleigh's fading channel fading. Our findings indicate that a more stringent upper bound on latency is achieved. In order to improve E2E delay, the number of resource blocks (RBs) allocated should be correctly distributed in accordance with a match requirement of delay upper bound and dependability.
