Instruments such as the field diary, Pretest and Post test were used, which allowed generating a triangulation, resulting in important considerations regarding the incidence of visual arts in the school and its potential role in the pedagogical strategies aimed at the transformation of the educational practice, strengthening the reading, writing and oral skills of the students.
