FEATURES OF PROCESSING AND TRANSLATING MULTILINGUAL TEXTS IN THE DIGITAL AGE

The article examines key aspects of working with texts that combine elements of different languages in the context of the rapid development of digital technologies. The analysis covers the complexities and possibilities of automated natural language processing (NLP) and machine translation (MT), focusing on the problems of preserving cultural context, lexical-semantic accuracy and stylistic integrity when transmitting content.Particular attention is paid to the specifics of processing multilingual texts in various genres: from media materials and social networks to professional and scientific texts. The role of such aspects as language code recognition, text segmentation, adaptation of cultural realities and integration of stylistic differences of languages is emphasized.Common translation transformations are considered, including concretization, generalization, calque, as well as the adaptation of modern realities, such as memes or acronyms. The effectiveness of modern digital translation tools, such as hybrid methods combining machine translation with post-editing and advanced deep learning models for multilingual systems, is also analyzed.Recommendations are offered for Vda a perspektivy 12(43) 2024
