Abstract

Throughout the ages, “Getting married” has always been an essential event in life. However, with the development of society, ideological innovation, more and more young people appear fear of marriage, or even the idea of not getting married. From this point of view, the highly educated people’s view of love and marriage has changed significantly, the society about the future trend of love and marriage will be more uncontrolled. This paper will find and analyze the data to determine the changes in the concept of marriage, causes and potential problems, so as to better solve the marriage market gap. The research shows that the modern high-educated people tend to marry later and do not marry, on the one hand due to social pressure, such as economic pressure, career pressure, family pressure. On the one hand, the pursuit of Self-worth and the improvement of education level of this group of people pay more attention to their social status and the realization of their ideal pursuit, thus replacing the traditional interdependent relationship between marriage and love, rising standards and people’s inability to meet their expectations make marriage less likely.
