Twórczość Józefa Mackiewicza i Barbary Toporskiej w obiegu akademickim w Polsce po roku 1980 – wybrane zagadnienia. Szkic do badań

Comparing the edition of the works of émigré authors, who until the 1980s functioned only in the second circulation of Polish literature in the country, it can be seen that in the case of the works of Józef Mackiewicz and Barbara Toporska, the interest of readers, which had been inhibited for some time, is now reviving and gaining strength again. Apart from this assumption – the first thesis of the following article – an attempt will be made to present the diversity and multifaceted nature of the scholarly reception of the writers’ works, including in the analysis the presentation of publications summarising international projects (e.g. the reception and translation of Mackiewicz’s works in Germany). Another issue that will be presented is the disproportion in the academic circulation of the works of both writers, with as yet little representation of the literature on the subject related to Barbara Toporska.
