Abstract

The creator knows what would benefit people and guide them, and He is aware of the qualities and natures with which their souls were created. So He addressed them in the manner that was most beneficial and effective for them; because this Creator knows their souls better than they do. All that remains for the creatures is to read the words of God with contemplation and reflection, then apply what is in them so that their conditions may be improved, their lives could be set straight. The research deals with the Holy Quran’s style of motivation, which is a discourse and an educational motivational approach that with lofty and noble purposes through which it aims to advance the individual and society simultaneously. This is because motivation through the texts of the Qur’an makes the individual a good, righteous one who loves righteous deeds. The research mentions the various forms and images of Quranic motivation, such as: motivation through good tidings, motivation through awakening the spirit, etc. For each type of motivation, the researcher cites appropriate verses from the Holy Quran to support his idea, along with literary and psychological analysis of those sacred verses.
