A Study on the Effect of Optical Illusion Principles on Graphic Poster Design - Focusing on Environmental Posters -

With the development of modern society, public thinking and aesthetic sense are also constantly updated, and too ordinary design is difficult to attract public attention. In response to these new mental demands, designers must understand the needs of the public on the one hand, and on the other hand, innovation in design concepts must be considered very important.Optical illusion presented design directions for many works in a unique visual form.In order to apply the design strategy of the optical illusion principle to the design of environmental public interest posters, the most important thing is that it is closely connected to the hot spot of environmental problems in modern society, which can induce public thinking and reflection on the contents of the posters. In this situation, this study aims to examine the development status and background of environmental public interest posters targeting optical illusionary environment posters, and to collect and analyze environmental public interest poster works that have been awarded at each international poster exhibition in recent years. In addition, through Richard Gregory's optical illusion theory, the overall cognitive effect of public interest posters can be high due to the influence of the optical illusion principle on environmental poster design and the rational application of the optical illusion principle.
