THE IDEOLOGY OF SARMATISM AND ITS REFLECTION IN THE STATE ORDER OF THINGS OF THE COMMONWEALTH

The article examines the peculiarities of the state system of the Commonwealth of Nations; the essence of the ideology of Sarmatism and the reasons for its spread among the nobility were investigated; the degree of influence of the main provisions of the ideology of Sarmatism on the state system of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth is clarified; conclusions were made about the importance of the ideology of Sarmatism for the "noble democracy of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth".
