International Journal For Innovative Engineering and Management Research
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly recognized as a crucial technology in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), especially in protecting computer networks from cyber threats like attacks, malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.AI has the potential to significantly improve cybersecurity for governments, organizations, and non-governmental entities, particularly through e-Governance initiatives. However, existing research presents mixed findings about the relationship between AI, e-Governance, and cybersecurity, suggesting that this relationship is context-dependent.AI, e-Governance, and cybersecurity are influenced by a variety of stakeholders, each bringing unique knowledge and expertise to the table. To address this gap, this study explores how AI, e-Governance, and cybersecurity are interconnected, focusing on the direct links between them.It also looks at how e-Governance acts as a mediator between AI and cybersecurity, and how stakeholders' involvement might influence these connections. The findings, based on PLS-SEM path modeling, show that e-Governance partially mediates the relationship between AI and cybersecurity. In addition, the involvement of stakeholders has a significant moderating effect on both the AI-to-e-Governance and e-Governance-to-cybersecurity relationships. This highlights the crucial role stakeholders play in AI and e-Governance, as they all have a shared interest in a secure, transparent, and efficient cyberspace while utilizing e-services.The study offers practical insights for government bodies, particularly in smart cities, to enhance their cybersecurity strategies. It underscores the importance of involving various stakeholders in shaping secure and effective digital governance frameworks.
