A Study On Various Factors That Affect The Performance Of A Shooting Players In India
In order to be successful in the sport of shooting, a player must be able to deal with a variety of factors that will have an effect on his or her performance. Shooting is a sport that requires a great degree of precision. In order to determine the physiological, psychological, and social factors that are affecting the performance of a shooting player in a range of tournaments, it is required to do research. With regard to the survey, a sample of 255 shotgun, rifle, and pistol shooting players from all around India is taken into consideration. A number of physiological factors, such as Posture Stability, Quiet Eye, Hand Grip Strength, and Amin Point Trajectory, as well as psychological factors, such as Motivation, Concentrations, Attention, Self-confidence, and Reaction Time, as well as sociological factors, such as Language, Literacy, Gender Roles, and Peer Pressure, were taken into consideration, and their impact on the player's performance was outlined. In each of the three domains—namely, the physiological, the psychological, and the sociological—highly influential aspects were discovered during the investigation. When all of these aspects are taken into consideration, they have the potential to facilitate the incorporation of necessary approaches into the training procedure of a shooting player. The purpose of this survey is to provide assistance in the process of building a training program for a shooter. The training program shall consist of modules that cover both physiological and psychological aspects, as well as social aspects, with the goal of enhancing the performance of a player through counselling and mentoring on an individual basis.
