CALCULATION OF SOUND INSULATION OF MULTILAYERED STRUCTURES
Recently, the problem of noise protection hasbecome relevant due to the increase in the number ofvehicles in cities and their capacity. One of the effectivesolutions is the use of sound-insulating structures,in particular multilayer ones. They combine densesound-reflecting materials and lightweight soundabsorbingmaterials. However, the existing methodsof calculating sound insulation do not take intoaccount the peculiarities of uniform thick and heavystructures. A new technique is proposed, whichconsiders structures as two-layered: the first layer isthe main structure made of solid materials (concreteor brick), the second is a facing layer with sound-УДК 628.517Doi: https://doi.org/10.33644/2313-6679-3-2024-6БІДА Д. The proposed method allowsdetermining the frequency characteristics of soundabsorption based on the physical and geometricproperties of the enclosure. The developedmathematical model takes into account the mass, thickness of materials and the effect of resonance foraccurate calculation of soundproofing characteristics. The system of equations takes into account differentranges of material masses to calculate soundinsulation. Calculations were carried out for variouscombinations of materials, such as brick, acousticwool and gypsum fiber boards, which allowed toevaluate the effectiveness of structures in differentfrequency ranges. The accuracy of the calculationresults, which coincide with the experimental datawith an error of +/- 3 dB, confirms the reliability ofthe developed methodology. It takes into account thethickness, mass and density of structures, allowingengineers to choose the optimal materials to achievethe required level of sound insulation.
