Investigating Extracellular Vesicles in Viscous Formulations: Interplay of Nanoparticle Tracking and Nanorheology via Interferometric Light Microscopy
Extracellular Vesicles Nanoparticle tracking analysis by interferometric light microscopy is a methodology for analyzing the concentration and size distribution of nanoparticles. Interference patterns analysis enables nanoparticle tracking not only in aqueous solutions but also in complex, high viscosity or non-Newtonian media, particularly pertinent for characterizing extracellular vesicle formulations and to evaluate their interactions with their local environment through a nanorheological approach.
