Сэлэнгэ аймгийн Ерөө сумын нутгаас шинээр илрүүлсэн Сяньбигийн үеийн дурсгалт газрын мэдээ

Many ethnic groups and peoples have lived in Mongolia and left dozens of archaeological monuments that testify to their history. However, some of them have been studied very little, one of which is the Xianbi period. Until recently, no archaeological monuments related to this period were found, but since 2014, our researchers have discovered monuments related to them in the Selenge, Darkhan-Uul, and Orkhon aimags, or the Selenge and Orkhon river basins, and it is clear that the Xianbi people lived and existed in that region. This time, we are reporting on the newly discovered Xianbi period burial monuments in the region. This monument was first discovered during an aerial survey in January 2025, and a site visit was completed in late April 2025.
