Adaptive Optical Power of Atmospheric Laser Communication based on Reciprocity
Free space optical communication, characterized by its high carrier frequency, strong directionality, and enhanced security, offers significant advantages for high-speed communication between buildings in smart cities. However, atmospheric turbulence disrupts the wavefront of propagating beams, severely impacting the stability and transmission rate of communication systems. In this paper, we propose an optical signal stabilized amplitude transmission method based on atmospheric turbulence channel reciprocity. This method aims to enhance the performance of atmospheric wireless optical communication systems by adaptively pre-compensating transmit power using real-time collected fading characteristic signals.
