Exploring Usability and User Experience in WeBarangay: A SUS and UEQ Analysis
This study presents an evaluation of the WeBarangay Local Government System, employing a dual-method approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Data is collected from a diverse participant pool through the application of the System Usability Scale (SUS) to measure usability and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to assess user experience. The findings reveal W eBarangay’ s exemplary usability, as evidenced by an outstanding average SUS score of 85.50, corresponding to an “Excellent” grade. Additionally, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) unveils nuanced dimensions, emphasizing Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The synthesis of SUS and UEQ findings identifies convergences and divergences, offering a comprehensive view of WeBarangay's performance. Commonalities and disparities between usability and user experience provide valuable insights, guiding targeted improvement efforts. The study's implications extend to practical enhancements in WeBarangay, ensuring user satisfaction and positive overall experiences. Ultimately, this research contributes to advancing fingerprint identification systems by emphasizing the integration of usability and user experience considerations in system development.
