Enhancing Robotic Power Stability: A Single-Phase AC-DC Converter Approach with MATLAB-SIMULINK

This paper proposes an AC-DC converter designed for single-phase AC input, with a focus on power circuit stabilization. Such stabilization is critical in robotic applications, where a consistent and precise power supply is essential for smooth and reliable operation. Using MATLAB-SIMULINK, we propose a circuit to achieve this objective. The configuration includes a full-wave bridge rectifier connected to a step-down transformer, followed by RC filters to stabilize the network. The primary aim of this project is to enhance the stability of the converter circuit, significantly reducing output ripple voltage fluctuations. By minimizing ripple voltage, this converter facilitates the seamless integration of power systems into robotic platforms, improving their performance in various tasks and environments.
