Advancements in Wearable Sensor Technology for Remote Health Monitoring
Wearable sensor technology has emerged as a promising tool for remote health monitoring, offering continuous and non-invasive monitoring of vital signs and physiological parameters. This paper explores recent advancements in wearable sensors, including novel sensor designs, data processing algorithms, and integration with wireless communication technologies. We discuss their applications in monitoring chronic conditions, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and respiratory disorders, highlighting their potential to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Additionally, we address challenges such as data security, privacy concerns, and regulatory compliance, and propose strategies to overcome these barriers. Overall, this paper provides insights into the current state and future directions of wearable sensor technology in the field of remote health monitoring.
