Study on Composite Electromagnetic Scattering from Frozen Soil Surface With Complex Moving Target Using Method of Moments
Aiming at the demand for data acquisition, analysis, and classification of radar echo characteristics of moving targets placed above the frozen soil surface in alpine regions, the mixed dielectric constant model is selected to simulate the dielectric constants of frozen soils, the spatial domain synthesis method is used to simulate the surface roughness of frozen soil, which obeys the Alpha-stable distribution. The method of moments is used to study the composite scattering of a column of equilateral triangular cross-section tumbling longitudinally on a frozen soil surface under the condition of cone wave incidence, the variation curve of the composite scattering coefficient with the scattering angle is obtained by simulated. The numerical results show that the longitudinal shift of the column's center of gravity has a small influence on the composite scattering coefficient, and the rotation of the triangular section column has a large influence on the composite scattering coefficient when the triangular section column is in a complex tumbling motion.
