A Direct and Systematic Design Methodology for Sizing Class $\Phi_{2}$ Inverter
A new methodology for sizing class <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\Phi_{2}$</tex> inverters is proposed in this paper. The presented design process builds on the analytical description of the class EF inverter developed in a previous work. A step-by-step design of a <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$60 \ \mathrm{W}, 15 \text{MHz}$</tex> class <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\Phi_{2}$</tex> inverter is performed, with experimental validation provided. The experimental results show good agreement with the theoretical predictions, underscoring the relevance of the proposed methodology.
