Radio Environment Map Construction for EMI Multi-Radiation Source Based on Blind Source Separation

This paper introduces a method for blind source separation, localization, and radio environment map construction of multiple radiation sources in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) electric field radiation emission. The goal is to achieve fault diagnosis and visualization of electromagnetic compatibility in a semi-anechoic chamber under complex electromagnetic environments. The method begins with blind source separation of the EMI narrowband frequency domain signals. The radiation sources are then estimated using the Received Signal Strength Difference (RSSD) localization principle, and the electromagnetic spectrum of the test environment is reconstructed based on the separation results. Experiments with predefined strip-shaped and point-shaped radiation sources validate the method. The results show successful separation, localization, and imaging of electric field distributions of multiple radiation sources during EMC testing of aerospace products, with localization accuracy of 0.13 m and a radio environment map calculation error of 0.81 dB. This method provides theoretical support for EMC fault analysis and radiation source suppression in aerospace products.
