Evaluating suitable biometric sensor for education system in bipolar fuzzy environment

A biometric sensor is a device that measures and analyzes biological characteristics or behavioral patterns of individuals for the purpose of identifying or verifying their identity. These sensors capture unique physical or behavioral traits that are distinct to each person, allowing for accurate authentication. Biometric sensors offer several advantages in educational settings, including improved accuracy in attendance records, enhanced security and convenience in access control. However, their implementation also raises privacy concerns and requires careful management of data to protect student information readers. Some of the biometric sensors used for educational purposes are Iris scanners, Facial recognition system, Voice recognition system, Fingerprint scanners and hand geometry readers. Choosing the best biometric sensor for an education system depends on various criteria such as installation, security, maintenance, hygiene and contactless operation and privacy and legal compliance. These biometric sensors can help create a safer, more productive learning environment by providing real time data to educators and administrators. They also support hands on learning experiences and improves operational efficiency. In this paper VIKOR method on bipolar picture fuzzy soft set is dealt with. The most suitable biometric sensor under educational background is determined using bipolar picture fuzzy soft VIKOR method.
