A 13.59 PPM/°C Compensated Bandgap Reference Source
By analyzing and studying the principle of traditional bandgap reference circuits and based on the current summation mode adopted at the two output nodes of the operational amplifier, the output voltage characteristics of the traditional bandgap reference are analyzed and derived. To further reduce the influence of temperature on the output reference voltage, a high-order curvature compensation circuit structure is designed based on the traditional bandgap reference voltage source to further improve the stability of the output voltage. This structure uses two transistors with different temperature characteristics to generate two negative temperature characteristic currents, which eliminate the nonlinear term in the traditional bandgap reference output reference voltage through these two negative temperature characteristic currents.
